About The Marketplace

Primzy also operates a local client discovery marketplace — a place where new clients can find and book stylists near them. If a brand-new client who had no prior relationship with you books you through the marketplace, Primzy charges a one-time 15% commission on that first booking only.

Every booking after that with the same client: free. Every booking made through your own shared profile link: free. The marketplace is a new-client discovery channel — you only pay when it actually delivers someone new.

Grant Requirements

Grant recipients help shape Primzy by responding to periodic feedback requests — covering product direction, app improvements, or workflow insight. This is how we build software that actually works for independent pros.
If feedback is not provided when requested, Primzy reserves the right to revoke grant access. We're building this platform together — your input is the exchange.
The 15% first-booking marketplace commission described above applies as it does for all Primzy professionals. The grant covers your monthly subscription — not marketplace commissions, which only apply when the marketplace sends you a new client.

Is this a free trial?

No. The Professional Freedom Grant is not a trial period and does not expire. Selected professionals receive their subscription covered for as long as they are building their career on Primzy.

Who can apply for the Professional Freedom Grant?

Any independent beauty professional can apply, including hair stylists, nail techs, lash artists, estheticians, makeup artists, braiders, and brow artists. We give strong consideration to professionals in early stages of building their career and those who would meaningfully benefit from the financial relief.

How many grants are available?

Primzy has committed to funding 100 beauty professionals through the Professional Freedom Grant. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
