Managing Your Preferences

Your location and timezone, notifications, email topics, and birthday.

  1. Open your dashboard

    Your preferences live in your dashboard, under Settings.

  2. Open Settings, then Preferences

    Click Settings in the sidebar — it opens a submenu. Click Preferences in that submenu. Email Preferences and Birthday both live here too, alongside your location, timezone, and notifications.

  3. Check “Promos, Deals & Events from Stylists”

    This is opt-in marketing SMS — checking it opens a consent dialog before it turns on, since it’s a different kind of text than your booking reminders.

  4. Click “I Agree” to confirm

    This consent is separate from booking-related texts, which you control independently and which don’t need it. You can turn marketing SMS back off at any time.

  5. Then click Save Preferences

    Your state, city, and timezone also save from this same button — the button pulses once anything on the card has unsaved changes.

  6. Choose which emails you get

    Below Preferences, this card lets you opt in or out of specific email topics one at a time — this never affects emails required for security, payments, or legal notices.

  7. Pick a month and day, then click Save Birthday

    Optional — some pros send a birthday text. This is a one-time save; once set, it can’t be changed.
