Pro Onboarding, Step by Step
Stuck during onboarding? Let's walk you through it the entire process.

What's Required?
Although there are seven steps, the only five required steps (in order) are: 1. Import Your History, 2. Set Location, 3. Set Availability, 4. Share Your Link, and 5. Primzy Community. Each is worth 20% on the progress bar. Services & Payments and Customize Website are optional.

Import Your History
Don't start from scratch. Upload screenshots from your old booking platform and Primzy will read your reviews, service menu, and formulas for you. Reviews must be approved by the Primzy staff after you upload them. Click “I'm done here." when done or if you don't have anything to import. You can still upload reviews and formulas at a later time.

Set Location
Tell Primzy where you work so clients can find you. State, city, and zip code are required.

Set Availability
Choose when clients can book you. Leave the toggle on for Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, or turn it off to set each day by yourself. You can change your hours any time from your dashboard.

Services & Payments: Add your first service
This step is optional. But if you do want to add one, it counts as done if you have at least one service. A service requires a name, a description of at least 10 characters, a category, a duration of at least 15 minutes, and a base price in whole dollars (at least $2, no cents). You cannot be booked without creating a Stripe account.

Services & Payments: Set up Stripe
Stripe handles taking payments from clients and paying out to your bank account. Click "Set Up Stripe" to go to Stripe's signup page. Fill in your details, and you'll be sent back to Primzy. If you want to set up Stripe later, you can do so in your Settings tab. You can click "Continue Without Stripe For Now" to skip this step.

Customize Website
Primzy gives you your own live, public website for clients to see. To complete this step, you must fill out your bio (auto-saves after you finish typing). You can optionally upload a Profile Picture, portfolio pictures, and edit your website. The "Edit Website & Theme" section opens a live preview and editor where you can select a starter theme and edit your page.

Share Your Link
Your profile link is how clients book you directly, and Primzy takes 0% commission on bookings made through it. To complete this step, you must click the copy button (the icon of two squares) or click any of the share buttons (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, etc.).

Primzy Community
Primzy offers a community where you can learn, share, and connect with other stylists. To complete this step, click the checkbox next to "Sounds great! Let's get started booking!"

Finish with Complete Onboarding
Once all five required steps are done, the forward arrow is replaced by a green Complete Onboarding button. Click it to finish onboarding and land on your new professional dashboard! Still stuck? Email support@primzybeauty.com.
