Securing Your Account

Two-factor authentication, backup codes, and linked sign-in providers.

  1. Open your dashboard

    Security settings live in your dashboard, under Settings.

  2. Open Settings, then Security & Linked Accounts

    Click Settings in the sidebar — it opens a submenu. Click Security & Linked Accounts in that submenu. Two-Factor Authentication sits at the top; below it, Linked Accounts shows which sign-in providers (like Google) are connected and lets you link or unlink them.

  3. Save your backup codes

    Right after you enable MFA, Primzy shows you a one-time set of backup codes — copy or download them, since you won’t be able to see them again.

  4. To get new codes, enter your password and click Regenerate

    This invalidates every existing backup code and issues a fresh set — use it if you’ve lost track of how many you’ve used.

  5. To turn MFA off, enter your password and click Disable MFA

    This removes the extra verification step at login — you can always turn it back on later.
